Do you work in a happy working environment?
Most people spend 50% of their lives within indoor environments, which can greatly influence their mental status, actions, abilities and performance. There is a common ideology that a positive and inspiring working environment will reflect better outcomes and productivity amongst employees.
In a study conducted amongst 2000 employees at varying companies, results found that 9 out of 10 people believed that a workplace quality affects the attitude of employees and increases their productivity. With this in mind when refurbishing an office it is important to consider specific aesthetics including:
- What furniture should be used?
- How much space do we have?
- Where will the lighting be placed?
- What are the heating arrangements?
- Are there different levels of noise? How can we reduce this?
With Christmas and the New Year fast approaching, it's never been a better time to consider an office refurbishment.
